It turns out there are two main problems people are seeing with Spotlight: Pretty nifty, eh?Īlas, as with most good Microsoft features, it’s horribly buggy… Spotlight doesn’t work – what the heck? So, theoretically, the quality of Spotlight images will go up over time.
Spotlight lets you vote on whether or not you like the images it downloads. Note the little “Like what you see?” link in the upper right corner of the screen. It’s a way to make unlocking your puter a little prettier, and a little more varied. Instead of having one static lock screen image, Windows downloads new ones and rotates them regularly. It’s a very nifty feature, especially since the images are very nice.īut as I said, it doesn’t work at all much of the time.įortunately, there are two different ways you can fix this problem – without even needing Spotlight to work correctly! Spotlight is an option for your Lock Screen where Windows will download new wallpapers in the background, and then show you a different purty image each time you go to unlock your puter. Unfortunately, it doesn’t work much of the time. There’s a cool new feature in Windows 10 called Spotlight.
